What is happening now?

Delphiniums We have stopped taking orders for the small English Delphinium plants and are growing our plants on for sale later in the year. We will have larger Delphinium plants for sale through the post at the end of the season, for collection from the nursery or from our plant fairs.

Seed We are still sending out seed orders. We have added more flower seed varieties and also some ornamental grasses and wildflowers to our collection this year.

Abutilons We have extended our range of Abutilon plants and now have a magnificent display. We are selling small and large plants online and also have larger specimens available for collection from the nursery.

Fairs & Nursery Open Days Our Plant Fairs have gone well and it was nice to welcome our customers to our Open Days. Our delphinium bed has been delightful, after a slow start, and we are now having to dead head some of the beautiful spikes we produced. We have a new Plant Fair this year at Rennishaw Hall on the 15th August see our Plant Fair page for further details.


January - Good to see even the boss has to do the menial jobs. Pot washing was a good way to keep warm this winter.	February - Our seed sowing is successful thanks to the heated bench and we are now struggling to find room for them all!

Now you see them.... Cuttings emerging despite low temperatures and lack of sun.	Now you don't.... We play cat and mouse with the frost as the temperatures are the lowest we have recorded here.

March - Large plants being dispatched.	Cutting material is appearing at last - better late than never.
