This was our first year of growing and we were still missing that essential poly tunnel to give us much needed protection from the weather! We still had lots of ground work to do. The lawn was replaced by a sheet of mypex and protected from naughty pets and children by chicken wire. The poly tunnel was finally ready for use in September just in time for the worst of the weather and boy did we need it!


Using child labour to shade the glasshouse - hey you've missed a bit!	Every available space is used even our porch!	Despite the cramped conditions the results are good and Ashley is pleased.

Our beautifully fenced field but still no tunnels.	Yes this was a lawn when we arrived.	Lots of chickenwire but still no chickens.

Work starts on the field.	Where did this come from?	The new plants are still flowering - Sept 2005

The mobile benches are level at last.	Oh dear - at least it won't need mowing!	The stock plants are moved into their new home and kept dry over the winter 2005
